About

This blog has a single, slightly absurd premise: a curated list of the 32 best board games of all time.

Why 32? It’s a power of two, which feels right for a tournament-style ranking. And it’s small enough to be defensible, large enough to cover variety. I’ll add games one at a time, with a real review and reasoning. If a new game pushes an old one out, I’ll write a post explaining why.

Currently in the list: 9 games. Aiming for 32 over the next two years.

I’ve been playing tabletop seriously since 2018. Mostly Euro-style strategy, but with growing interest in cooperative games and the heavier Ameritrash side of the hobby. No conflict of interest — no review copies, no sponsored content. I buy the games I review.

Posts are short reviews, occasional strategy notes, and short rants when something gets overhyped.
